I think “volatile damage and explosion area” is missing in the acolyte idol loot filter (for ornate acolyte idols).
I just double checked my self and try to find something that might be wrongly named or something, but it seems it is indeed completely missing from the Idol Affix category (the affix only exists in the gear category).
So this is definitely a bug and should go into #bug-reports
