Oh it’s very important maybe not quite as important to me as a good skill dps, but it is absolutely important.
Exactly, I find it frustrating that people often just post their views on a well-trodden subject without checking to see whether there’s already posts about it. There aren’t too many such subjects, but the likes of loot filters, skill dps, monoliths being hard/OP/etc, could, IMO, do with a quick search first.
So post it in an existing thread! I’m absolutely fine with people having differing views on stuff, but if someone wants to pass on their views on something like loot filters, or monoliths, why would they not first see if there’s an existing thread on the subject?
There are some Threads were the OP might not be a general topic but a specific idea. And i would understand if some people might want to open a new topic for their own view on things.
But on such general topics as “When Lootfilter”, “Why No Lootfilter Yet” etc. i also find it frustrating that people keep on creating new threads. (Don’t get me wrong, i like that people actually care about giving feedback in general, it’s way better than not create any topic at all)
I just would wish that people would use the search function more.
If it’s a topic where the threads that discuss that are no obvious or have thread-titles which are not obvious what the thread is about i can understand it.
But one simple search on keywords like “monolith” or “lootfilter” will open several topcis already with dozens of replies.
If there is some1 who has a very specific suggestion or idea for some lootfilter implementation i wouldn’t mind if he would create a new thread on his own.
I’m newer to the game but I would think that itemization and item drops would be more of a priority. Some of the drops I get don’t make any sense. Also for testing purposes it would be nice to hold back on a loot filter for just a bit longer in order to sort that out. Naturally we’ll want to test out a loot filter and suggest augments to that and have plenty of time to do that before launch.
