After selecting a loot filter in the settings my filter selection saves and works perfectly fine as long as I don’t close the game for an extended period of time.
I have tried re-launching the game, re-launching steam, and restarting my computer to see if I could recreate this quickly and reliably, but none of those caused the issue.
However, without fail, if I close the game and turn off my computer for the day and come back roughly 24 hrs later, I will have to re-apply my loot filter selection. I have had to do this every day for the past 4-5 days.
If anyone has ideas on how to correct this, I’m open to suggestions. If there is anything needed to be uploaded, let me know.
I was not able to find the location where the filters are saved. Do you know the file path off hand?
Not using Geforce Now, I’m playing directly through steam on PC.
Edit: Found the folder where the loot filters are stored. The folder is flagged as read only. Is this supposed to be read-only or should I turn that off?
I’m going to give a fresh install a try. I have had the game installed through many many updates without playing so maybe something got corrupted during one of the updates. I’ll report back if that helped.
So I came back today after doing a fresh install last night and I did not have the issue with the filter not saving, so I’m going to say that the re-install worked. At least for now. After the re-install, I checked if that folder was marked as read-only again and it was. Maybe it being marked as read-only has something to do with me doing an import rather than creating from scratch?
