Loot filter optimization into endgame

I have sort of borrowed a staple leveling filter for the leveling process but I kind of wanted to sort of get a few ideas on how to properly optimize a loot filter to scale into endgame once the monolith of fate has been reached after the campaign. For the most part I have mostly just been keeping an eye out for specific affixes my character may potentially use. Outside of that do you gamers have any specific rule of thumbs you have for making an endgame filter?

Hide as many item types and sub item types as possible.

Bases that you would never even consider using, regardless of their affixes.

Heavy +1
I hide everyting, then I take time to choose what I want to see. just make sure that the ā€œhide everythingā€ is at the bottom of the loot filter.

I shall most likely keep this in mind, may end up just making the endgame filter from scratch focusing mostly on items with relatively specific skill based affixes, still think I wont play much until the new primalist summon hits since the storm crow sounds interesting.

If some1 is relatively new or unexperienced i would not recommend a hide all rule at the bottom.

Deliberately hiding stuff that you active choose in any condition is way saver, because if you forget something, you deny yourself potentially valuble loot.

Don’t hold yourself back from playing any class, even if there are upcoming new skills.

There are so many different skills and buidls available, evne if you end up with playing multiple primalists from scratch you can play them all so differently.

yeah i have played quite a few primalists, just going to make my next one a storm crow build, already started leveling it but not going to do much else until the patch tbh. the storm crow just sounds more interesting at the moment, beastmaster summoner was pretty solid on a budget for sure. Seeing as I have not dove into spell based companions yet it should be fun in one way or another.

I agree. Use the ā€œhide all ruleā€ only if you are experrienced enough with the game. I’m just doing it because it’s fast and allow you to change your conditions quickly. But yeah, it can make you miss good loot if you don’t make it properly…
