I found a bug that doesn’t let me exit the “loot filter” menu. I was playing with half of my screen blocked from the loot filter options. In the end my character died because I couldn’t keep track of what was happening on my screen. I couldn’t exit the “loot filter” menu. I had to alt+f4 to exit the game. I noticed all of my loot filters were missing when I tried to load them. It was after that the game got me stuck on creating a loot filter.
This has happened before… Usually when the loot filters get corrupted… I.e. something went wrong and when you opened the loot filter menu, it tries to load the corrupted filters and fails and you cannot get out of the menu…
I would suggest that you delete the lootfilter files from the Last Epoch folder on your system and the recreate them in-game again… This is the only way to be sure nothing is messed up still…
On windows the files are in C:\Users[username]\AppData\LocalLow\Eleventh Hour Games\Last Epoch
I encountered a similar issue & was able to recreate it multiple times.
Had to do with this imported filter where when you delete it through the UI it will cause the settings panel to be generally unresponsive. Was still able to create new filters, import filters, delete filters but unable to close settings window or add/edit rules to any filters. The delete loot filter confirmation window would also remain on screen. Had to alt+f4 and restart application to resolve issue.
i ad a very similar problem- i cant add any filters to my account using steps shwon on recent youtube videos- i follow the steps and it does not show in game- i also have the prompt screen always popping up and not being able to close the loot filter menu- kind of game breaking if you cant add loot filters and close the screen- needs a fix asap-
Some of the loot filters online might be old or have bugs (if they are edited manually) - especially ones that you import and dont recreate using the filter in-game menu. I would recommend you stick with the more recent lootfilter examples/tutorials here on the forum - especially those from active players who can help if you run into trouble.
Whatever the cause, once this problem happens you have to manually remove all the filter files from the last epoch folder else they will continue to do very strange things when the game tries to load them.
