Can we have an option to disable the loot filter enable/disable notification in chat. Any chat messages are quickly lost to my frequently hotkey use.
That sounds more like a problem with pressing the hotkey way too much.
Nah, its purpose is to check filtered items. It is very useful if you make your own loot filter, especially while tweaking one for a new character. Viewing 4 items shouldn’t fill the visible chat log.

Yeah, like I said, that sounds like you’re hitting the hotkey way too much. If you’ve got so little trust/understanding of your loot filter that you feel you have to constantly flip it on and off to make sure it’s working right, what’s the point of even having one?
Looking for useless condescending posts will trade other useless posts like this one.
