So, I tried adding affixes I want for my character and resistance, but when I add them it doesn’t highlight my color I have chosen or anything and it doesn’t hide them what i don’t want to see… Am I doing something wrong?
Probably.
Can you post a screenshot of your rules? Export the rules and post the file?
Rules need to be set as active. There is a checkbox left to each rule.
Rules are applied bottom to top, so the highest rules count. If you hide something first and then show it by another rule higher in the list, it won’t stay hidden.
While you are technically correct in the rest of your explanation, rules are actually applied top to bottom. It starts with the top one and as soon as one matches, it stops reading the rest of the rules.
So the end result is what you said, but it actually works in reverse order.

Right off the bat I’ll have to say that rule 3 does nothing. Since you’re not hiding any rare on rules 1-2, the default is that it will show.
The name of rule 1 makes me think that the rule isn’t well constructed. So grab a screenshot of the rule (open the rule as if you were going to edit and screenshot that) so we can see what you did wrong.
