Would just echo it feels bad at the moment. Not having trouble clearing 100 but feels like progression hit a brick wall. Target farming is the only thing keeping my interest or id probably stop playing until new content is added.
In the other most popular Arpg terms I never felt this way until I was well into red maps.
Yeah will agree with the same view. It’s been a thing a bunch of us have been bringing up for a while now, the devs generally havent seen to view it as a problme (theres a comment from mike somewhere that says something along the lines of ‘im not sure this is actually a problem’, not usre if thats becuase of who it effects or what shrug, at the very least they’ve not really taken any steps to combat the problem since we started pointing out it is a problem), but we’ve been saying that as soon as more people put a chunk of time into theg ame they’ll see the same thing, and so unsurprisingly that’s starting to happen. Hopefully the devs take this point on board properly. LE is not a game to play if you want to focus on gear progression, it’s sadly that simple right now.
Well I hope they change their mind when they finish the game, they obviously have some smart devs with the design decisions they have made.
I think they will find serious end game retention issues if it stays as is.
lol, I had not heard this term before, it is much more fun, thank you.
Yes, I felt like you were playing both ends of the argument; minimizing the annoyance to those wanting to rapidly try out different things, while maximizing the impact to sweatlords ( me likey!).
I know EHG has too much on their plate currently, but it would be awesome if there was a place you could zone into where passive and skills respecs were free, took place immediately, and instantly reverted when you left. With target dummies, of course. A try-before-you buy zone.
I do, thank you for taking the time to clear things up.
Where I am with this topic now; LE and I have been in an on-again/off-again relationship for years. We might be settling into a more permanent thing if they can fix all the bugs* and improve on minor annoyances. This skill reset relearning is a minor annoyance now, but after a couple years? It will be all I see.
*melee attack not moving into range and the horror-show that is gear pickup are the two worst for me. If they go live and cannot resolve those… it’s over baby. I’m sorry. It’s not me, it’s you. And you like pineapple on pizza, I mean, ffs.
