Loot drops lost on death

If this is already somewhere, I apologize, I didn’t see it.

However, I just lost 8 or 9 prophecy rewards during the Abomination Fight at 242 corruption in the Fall of Outcasts echo. I lost them all, from killing the “lights” in the corner to be able to damage the Abomination, from a lag spike and death while killing the Abomination. Just my opinion, but these items should not be lost on death…you have earned them and they are on the ground. There needs to be a stash tab or 2 set aside for “items left behind/missed”.

I’m slightly confused, did you kill the Abomination, the prophecies dropped the rewards & then died?

Yes i think so, there should be a stash tabs for lost items, like diablo 4.

i think he means like that

Honestly, now that you don’t lose stability when fighting bosses, you should just be able to respawn when you die. It would fix most of these complaints until devs get around to making instanced zones.

Making an invulnerability bubble start when you kill the boss (like you get when you load a zone) might also help, though I’m not too sure I’m in favour of that. But considering that many times you get the blessing choice popup after kill and can’t really move, it might be a good idea.

The 4 Vessels in the Abomination fight are considered “Monolith Bosses”, so sometimes when you have prophecies for generic Monolith Boss kills you drop the rewards for these prohecies when killing the vessels.

i hope for a postbox of sorts where things like the OP issue can be delivered when you revive. Its terrible to kill a boss and then die as your loot drops whether its prophecy or not.

Yes i apologize if that didn’t come across that way…all the Prophecies were finished with the Vessels and then I died on the Abomination. So the outside ring of the arena was completely covered in uniques and idols, lol…it was quite a mess.

i literally just killed a boss and lost items from multiple prophecies because i was disconnected right after i killed the boss 533c.

for everyone
at the VERY least, add a tab or a few tabs to the NPC in the hubs, that sells the stuff you didnt pick up, only from exalted, unique and set rarity…

aside from that, prophecies should be a turn in feature, with an extra NPC in the hubs for dungeons and monoliths to turn in completed prophecies.
this way people dont lose stuff because they died or WERE DISCONNECTED.

That seems pretty reasonable too.

Another good idea would be to get rid of this instant blessing pop up. It is really annoying.
Make us click somewhere when we are ready to choose our blessing, don’t jump on us like that.

This is something that I like and think should be the way they work, it would be more engaging for the prophecies AND prevent things like the OP experience.

The instant popup needs to go as sometimes you are still standing on boss ground effects and can’t see sht.

The lost items tab is also a great idea as it allows you to not pickup all the trash in regular maps.

From the suggestions here I would say the best ones are:

Turning in Prophecies instead of auto-drop at the spot.
and
Have the blessing pop-up solely come up by choice.

Those are very viable options and solve the issues without interfering with the game otherwise.

It also takes way, way too long to go away after you actually choose and confirm something.

Couldn’t the blessing pop-up show when leaving the boss area, just like the award pop-up for the 1000 exp and 1000 gold does ?

The blessings are planned to be itemized, so I imagine that not to be a good choice. They should drop inside the boss arena at least and not in the transition area.

So simply having them pop up by choice not only suffices but allows the future implementation as well.

I remember when I first bought this game and I ported to town to try to sell some stuff and when I came back there was no loot. I was really confused I almost just quit but I’m glad I didn’t. I’ve had quite a bit of fun with this game even though I strongly disagree with how they handle loot.

Yeah even this part im not sure why they do it this way. You get a tin of drops but when you tp out…even with a friend staying in the zone all the loot disappears.

my guess is partly because it reduces load times.
the actual impact, i have no idea.
