Yeah it is crazy and it will get nerfed and there will be some other thing that will be broken what is the big deal ? If you are worried about economy ? Just play CoF this game is not balanced around market/trading. Enjoy the builds you play and if you enjoy such thing try yourself.

It wasn’t though. (I play a hell of a lot of POE2)
1st League there was the the illusion of Balance because everyone just tried every class so the stats were mushed but towards the end Most of the game were playing Stat Stacking Mercenary which was so ridiculously broken it was clearing maps in under a minute and killing the Bosses in literal seconds.

Then Lightning Arrow was busted af and Deadeye was like 80% of the player base.
Then Lightning Spear was so ridiculous it was use by like 90% of the players.
Then they brought out Druid so a lot of people tried that which skewed the statistics again but in the end Mirage Tactician and Deadeye/Pathfinder were so busted whoever was left just went to that…
Not to mention the last league mechanic was so broken I found 3 Mirrors before I stopped playing… There were people finding 3 a day.

POE 2 is nowhere near ā€œBalancedā€.

Still love it though.

100% POE has the years of experience I always say give LE time to polish but yeah, they went backwards from a league with no real broken 1 shots - quickest uber was bear and they were busting with imprints from the heavens.

They nerfed imprints which upset a bunch of people, some didn’t even play the league due to it and others left after testing. They buffed a skill already show cased doing 110m before 1.4 was out. They added a new skill without really testing it by the looks. They destroyed acid flask which was only awesome with 777 slams - strong with 77 but no where near OP like umbral already was. They cooked primalist’s bear. I dont know many they just went backwards not fowards with this and they should be learning by now.

This was a big blip. I hope they do the following and fix acid flask back to what it was, un-nerf imprints and just change the numbers it was too strong but now it’s gone. Nerf the flow skill out of the tree. Cap shadows. Make the graphics on rend look less Commodore64ish (ok this ones personal). Change the ammys so they can only have ONE conversion because brutality and rampancy together is becoming a bit of a meme for one guy in particular. And yeah, bring on season 5. I hope it;s not 6 months away and I hope they do a bunch of promos.

I also hope they re-do the balance poll or just put their foot down. If a build is insane 2 weeks in and it was not their intention, balance it a bit, don’t break it just slide the scale down 20% or so and let people know this might happen.

Yeah, is this too slow for you? The first ~1/6 went down in one hit & the rest of it went down in ~2-3 hits.

Lol yeah 10 seconds and he posted in the video text ā€œMarrow Shards are buggedā€ and using 77 slams on everything pretty much which you’re not really seeing this patch most of us settling for lesser slams. He posted a 1 frame instant kill of uber with Shadow Rend - NOT BUGGED build.

The Rogue balance has been messed up for a long time. We’ve seen Falconers clearing Ubers with nothing but magic gear. They’re always at the top of the meta, and now with the major item buffs, they’ve become untouchable. There’s definitely a Rogue fan on the QA team. While other characters have distinct strengths and weaknesses, the Rogue is just flawless.

I would put a lvl req. for the uber abber encounter. lvl 90 maybe?

Yeah that makes sense but also in no world should there exist a build thats capable of running level 300c abberoth to get the map for uber then running corruption and killing shade enough to get to 500c THEN to kill Uber who has 100’s of millions of HP lol. Insane series of events to showcase just how broken that build is twinked items or not to output that damage and generate 1000+ ward and then whilst in smoke almost unhitable lol

Its -not- the gear it’s the way flow works with returning umbral blades and the insaneeeeeeee damage you get from those umbral blade dusk shroud idols. The rest of the build comes from the army of shadows and smoke. SMH.

I mean check out the kind of yarns going on in chat frequently this league there shouldn’t be any builds doing this.

all this does is to turn the devs into disciplinarians. instead of offering the freedom to play; restrictions for abilities, encounters, gear could be slapped on. i personally dont care what you do with your twink gear, but devs typically dont like to look bad

Possibly, 1.3 started in August 25 & the video was Sep 25. The point I was trying to make before Donziepie moved the goal posts was that yes, there was if not a one-shot-Uberroth build in 1.3 then something pretty close to it. If EHG had nerfed the builds he’s (rightfully) complaining about soon after they became a thing then he’d still not be able to complain about builds one shotting Uberroth.

Man I move the goal post on myself at times we both know I’m an idiot lol! That build you showed tho was technically bugged and they fixed it - 1.3 had crazy bear builds doing like, 15ish second kills by late late league but with imprinted double/triple exalted slams and I was just saying they nerfed the imprint as some kind of crazy power balance dynamic but then they added builds that literally dont need them and made those builds infinitely stronger - I mean, c’mon 1 billion? I am shocked the numbers actually went that high on the screen lol! I know every season has had 1 shot or close to it, I think 1.2 had multiple builds - locust swarm weird build thing and a marksman were 2 I remember then 1.3 was technically much more balanced but then somehow 1.4 went way off the rails hehe

I will always complain about something but it should be imprints, acid flask and losing Baal for the season so early.

What I really don’t understand is each season they flatten builds - acid flask is one and they also took away chakram/shadow cascade a really fun, pretty strong build by changing the chak node. These are just 2 examples but what confuses me about it is neither build was 1 shotting or insanely over powered for mapping etc. I just want to know who decides what gets nerfed but more importantly the reasoning? Warpath and Ballista both got to 100k corruption - warpath takes a slight nerf, infact I think it was a great balance, their only one and ballista goes unchanged still obscenely strong. Why one and not the other? There seems to be no logic behind most of their changes and buffs, its crazy :frowning:
