I have noticed while running around (holding LMB+ setting attack mobs with LMB active) that if I hover over a hostile NPC nothing happens, all that does happen is your character runs around the mobs. You have to release then press the LMB again and hope it is targeting the mob, other wise you run around it again!
Found a sort of solution, which isn’t ideal. If I hold the RMB down at the same time I will attack. HOWEVER it is very jerky and looks like something from an 80s PC
Ideally with the attack setting selected running along and hover over a mob, should allow a smooth transition from running to attack and back to running again.
I know this game is in EA so apricate there’s going to be issues. Bit just wanted to mention this to make sure you are aware of this.
