Lightning to Cold spell question?

I just wanted to make sure I understand this correctly. I am using Lightning Blast and using the node that converts it to Cold damage. My wand has both Increased Freeze/Cold damage and Lightning damage. I am only benefiting from the increased Freeze/Cold damage since the damage is converted, or am I benefiting from both?

I assume only the Freeze/Cold is benefiting me, but I wanted to make sure. Any help is appreciated?!

Only the cold (unless you can get some flat lightning damage from somewhere). As the node states, the skill will no longer benefit from % lightning modifiers.
