Started my mage again. But this time I am trying out the cold conversation on Lightning Blast.
Will this conversation benefit from the Lightning nodes in the Sorcerers tree, or only from the cold nodes?
Apparently the conversion only affects the base damage of the skill, not any added damage. Plus the conversion happens before any multipliers are applied (so converting Lightning Blast to cold will (/should, assuming it’s not broken) mean that it no longer benefits from +% lightning damage).

I kind of suspected that, but just wanted to double check.
To be honest I prefer the skill with the cold node added. It’s great for crowd control!
