I know this is the last thing on anyone’s mind because of the hectic launch but I want to put this here on record for when things settle down. I’ve seen suggestions like this on here before but then the reaper form got remade and I feel like the issue was not addressed.
I feel like thematically it is weird that a lich mastery doesn’t even have a lich form. I’m fine with the reaper form as an option and I know the reaper form was recently redone and that’s cool but I think the lich mastery also needs a lich form. So perhaps the reaper form could enable more close range abilities or melee abilities and the lich form could be the more magic path.
I also think with the Warlock mastery now being in the game the Lich mastery needs some distinction. Lich’s are undead master mages and they aren’t the best at either necromancy or dark magic? It doesn’t make thematic sense. I think the lich mastery should be the master spell caster of the Acolyte masteries, or enable some minion/caster hybrid.
Another possibility is to rename the Lich mastery to Reaper and have a lich form skill put in the Necromancer mastery. I feel like the lich mastery would need a serious revamp to have it live up to the theme.
