I picked the passive “Illusion of Pain” and “Cursed Limbs”.
And i casted it on a dummy with one hit by a skeleton to proc the curse damage.
Then i found that my on hit effects (such as % ignite chance on hit ) dont work anymore with this curse damage.
So i tested the curse damage again with different “% dmg leech as hp on hit”.
The result said that bone curse damage is actually a hit which can effect the hp leech by “% dmg leech as hp on hit”, but meanwhile cannot proc the on hit effect.
This is the intended behaviour. Casting Bone Curse on a target applies an ailment which does damage when you hit target. Ailments can’t apply other ailments.
I can’t remember whether the alt text for Bone Curse says that it can’t apply ailments.
