I wanted to express how much I love your game—it’s the best in its genre. I’ve spent 1400 hours in the Beta version, and like everyone else, I transitioned to version 1.0. The visual upgrade was astounding, and the game is truly magnificent. However, I find myself dying constantly now, even though I used to breeze through the Beta.
From Act 1 onward, I’ve encountered difficulties. I struggle to defeat LAGON. It seems you’ve increased the game’s difficulty, and from what I’ve read on the forums, it’s only going to get tougher in the EndGame.
As an older player with slight physical limitations, my reflexes don’t match those of the YouTubers, Twitch streamers, and professional gamers who complete the game in just an hour. Yet, I’m passionate about playing and want to continue.
You removed the masochism mode, but why not replace it with three difficulty levels: Easy, Normal, and Hard? This way, all players can find the right balance that suits them.
I hope that in your future projects, you’ll consider that we’re not all equal when it comes to keyboard skills. Do you want an elitist game for a minority of players, or a game for everyone?
They haven’t. Did you start a league character? It is harder when you start with nothing.
It’s not even slightly the former. It’s (allegedly) so not-complex that “OG” arpg playahs can’t take the game seriously.
Don’t worry, let the impudent yoof go and scream through the game and get bored/finish it in a week & complain about the “lack of content” while you take your time and enjoy the game at your own pace. The devs are also not yoof so you don’t need to worry about them making a game that requires attosecond reflexes, but you might not be able to do everything at the highest level of difficulty.
I also love the single player difficulty, it allows me to experiment with out there and thematic builds without suffering failure. However, I must say that playing in a group is very boring since the scaling is really low. That can be adjusted to the more difficult side.
