Seems like a silly restriction in 2023 to only allow ASCII. Can’t use many non-english names for characters because of this restriction.
You can’t use the ASCII accented characters? So holding alt while typing 138 doesn’t give you an “è”?
If I press “ä” or “ö”, nothing is entered in the input. I dont have a numpad so I don’t think I can enter accents that way.
You don’t need a number pad, you just need to type the numbers in for the relevant ASCII code. Though I’ve never tried it in-game.
It does not work, because you can’t use anything but the english alphabet for character names.
