For example : You play a melee Character and want to farm a woven flesh with some decent LP on it, so you have to do “fall of the outcast” over and over again, but the echo exclusive rewards are bows. With the possibility to reroll the reward category (even for just some hours), given by the echos, you can have something useful for a melee Character, like shields … maybe another option would be an ingame cycle of the echo rewards every 6/12/24/48/whatever hours
Maybe instead of player choice of rewards they should just have another look at which monoliths have which rewards based on the boss drops, because a boss that drops a shield shouldn’t have bows as a monolith unique echo reward.
Having to make difficult choices between farming a) or b) is the best part about loot driven games for me.
It will very quickly evolve into the direction, that everybody wants to be able to farm everything all at once, just doing one game mode.
It’s good that different game modes and different thigns within a game mode have different rewards.
