So say EHG’s released a phone app for LE right now with zero features. What are the first three features you want in the app.
Features examples; build planner, character look up, stream integration, item database, guides, lore info, official teaser first release notifications… etc.
As a bonus here’s what I would like, an integration to the chat in game of your choice. So you pick seasonal or legacy and you can see and chat in the global/trade/lfg/help.
This is just for fun but be serious please, ideally nothing NSFW/inappropriate/or just plain hate.
Don’t give EHG bad ideas to meander off the path of what they should be focusing on .
I also wanted to joke about Diablo: Immortal until I saw you want to be serious.
Apart from your ideas, for MG, I think prize check / access to Bazaar could be useful + “pre-order items” that arrive in a stash inbox.
Maybe some sort of Group Play Guild or LFG feature.
I also saw that other games - mainly MMORPGs like WoW or Neverwinter had some mini-games that you could play during workhours basically that also gave ingame rewards. Ambivalent on this idea.
I think his point is more in the vein of “What’s the use it could have on a phone?”. If you’re playing already, might as well do it in-game. And if you’re not playing, then why are you looking for a group? And how would that even work? Would it send a notification to the game to join a party? Seems kinda unnecessary overall.
I really dislike that everything these days needs to have an app and I don’t really see the need for one for LE or any other game. I’d sooner want them to actually do something on the site, like showing character list, MTX history, MTX shop, filter management, etc.
For me I personally want an LE app wherE I can look up and make a build on my phone. And I know a lot of people have multiple screens but some people can’t afford more than one. And alt tabbing between a 3rd party site and the game screen can be irritating.
So at least for iPhone although u can use letools site to plan a build on a phone. It is not 100% working on phone and has issues. Two big one being the sites layout not fitting properly when doing stuff like making a lengendary and best case fix you swipe and it’s there worst case you do a swipe that either reloads/refreshes/gets redirected which typically either makes you lose all of your planner or best case all of your stuff you did since your last save. And at least for me I have forgot to save and lost multiple builds after unintentional page resets causing a blank planner to load. You can say well just say more and my reply is I’m old.
Way too much work is needed in the game already. Dungeons in particular are extremely underwhelming. I know they will get some love in the future but let’s get past Season 5 and LEO and then we will see
