Hello,

I am farming gear where Legendary has potential.

If I understand correctly it goes like this:

  • I am farming Gear that has Legendary Potential.
  • Then I take an Exalted Gear (same type) where at least 4 affixes are on it (rolled as good as possible).
  • I put both in the inventory and go to the dungeon, kill the boss and put both in the cache.
  • Press “D” and take from the cache and so it is legandary.

For example, if there is only “1” Legendary Potential on the Gear it takes an affix (random) from the Exalted and then puts it on the other? Are the affixes that are taken always random?

PS. What if it takes the wrong affix? And what if it has 2 Legendary Potential?

Is this how it works?

  1. It always takes a random affix and puts it on the unique item. You just have to hope it takes the affix you want.

  2. If it takes the wrong affix then you have to try again. If the unique has 2 Legendary Potential it takes 2 affixes from the exalted item, again at random.

But yes the process you described is exactly how it works. Just remember that each tier of Temporal Sanctum has a cap on the level of the unique item that can go into the Cache. Tier 1 has a cap of level 55, which means your unique must require level 55 or below. Tier 2 has a cap of 65, tier 3 has a cap of 75 and tier 4 has no cap on levels.

About “2” to try again, i need a new unique and new exalted to try again of can i reroll the unique with a new exalted?

Exactly. If the legendary didn’t apply the affix you wanted, you have to find another of the same unique with LP and another exalted item of that type with an affix you want, and try again at the cache
