That’s… not quite how the distinction between ‘good/bad’ and ‘flavor’ is done though
Flavor has inherent ups and downs which are different for the type of flavor. Hence… some kinds of flavor might be rare, others might be common… but they represent a different target audience simply, so there’s hardly much to say besides ‘yeah, not my cup of tea’ if it doesn’t fit.
A ‘good/bad’ situation on the other hand has no inherent downside ‘Oh man, EHG provided us with the same amounts of tabs in Legacy after Cycle is over… now that bums me out!’ has likely nobody said ever and will maybe 1-2 weird people say.
So it’s not a ‘flavor’ as there is no inherent downside, or at least nobody has mentioned a single one. And no ‘hard to program’ is no downside, it’s a ability/resource/time issue simply.
At this point, I’d settle for the remove-only stash tabs. The latest patch stripped my access to the tabs entirely. Trying to select “1.0” in the dropdown menu of the stash crashes the game. The tabs still exist, and I even managed to switch to actually viewing my 1.0 tabs and their contents one time, but then trying to switch back to Legacy caused the game to crash. This is so much worse!
The transition from cycle → legacy being a one time problem because we just didn’t know how EHG would handle them all the more makes me not understand why they can’t just return the gold invested into 1.0 cycle tabs to players’ legacy gold amounts.
This too could be a one-time thing, I still haven’t heard a single downside to that gold refund for that first cycle. Does anyone know one? Now that we know what happens at the end of a cycle I for example only play legacy going forward so nothing I grinded and farmed for for weeks is partially lost again.
But we didn’t have that luxury at the time of that very first one.
A few things keep driving me away each time I try to play, since launch. This cycle, thought I would try legacy (since they are still just trying to nail things down) then I saw the nightmare of the stash situation… did cycle just to hide from THAT. Levelling was feeling slow and I had so many bugs that I changed my mind and decided: errr I’ll just go Legacy…:
ENTER: Minutes long lag if I try to cycle between stash tabs to try to resolve this mess I ran from in the first place.
I LOVE many things about this game. The way you can change each skill to function in many ways, altering gear etc but so many other things keep pushing me away and the bugs just seem to worsen, for me.
I am REALLY hoping the best for them. I WANT this game to succeed. Please just keep trying to work with us. Keep TRYING.
