I hate Arena style of game modes a lot with every little fiber of my body but then I played the new D4 season.
Is this just me or did Blizz make something good here LE might could take something from? It’s fast paced as well as fun and kind of a big massacre. Playing this vs LE Arena makes me dislike LE Arena even more even when I thought this wasn’t possible.
Am I alone with this or is anyone else thinking the setup of the Infernal Hordes is more enjoyable then some Arena stuff we had in the past? I’m just suprised I can have fun with an Arena mode finaly.
Arena is very vanilla. Not much XP. I think they are afraid of 0 button builds taking over. Infernal horde is ok for fun. Amazing for XP. Lots of rewards. I went from 98 to 100 in like 30 minutes. It took 2 days to get that in LE, lol. Neither of them are something I would play with other options available. I have yet to find a wave event in any game that’s really fun.
Hm I like IH far more then running down the same NMD again and again what I still have to do for Glyph XP. I still have to play Helltides for the mats. I still need to do the tree quests as well. IH is a nice breake from this and offers worthwhile rewards.
Yes it’s a bit blunt but the action in it is nice and it feels good compared to finding an Arena map in the Monolith.
The Horde events are starting to grow on me. While I’d rather be exploring a dungeon or doing an overland adventure, Blizz is giving such lavish rewards for doing them it’s hard to not participate. If arena mode here had similar xp rewards I would def. do them here.
