LE-104 Error While Partying

When I last tried to play with my wife (March of last year) we consistently received LE-104 errors while trying to partying…since partying was relatively new, we decided to shelve it and try again later. Fast forward to now (after PoE 2’s adjustments) we’re back trying it again…and got multiple LE-104 errors again.

It seems we brute forced it by try, try, trying again…but I cannot explain why it was happening as well as, what caused it to eventually work…I didn’t see any better posts on LE-104 than I did last time, so wondering if it’s something we need to do, but I don’t know what that might be (all other Steam multi-player games work just fine)…any thoughts? Thanks for any help!

You should use the in-game reporting tool. It sends data to the devs so they can figure things out. The devs have said several times that the bug report in the game is their best tool to figure things out.
So when you get an error like that, just send a report or two for them to figure out.

Hopefully it will be better at launch in 2 days (they’re going to shut down the servers to do maintenance to them soon), but every bit of info will certainly help.

In the meantime, you can try to maybe switch servers and see if it helps?
