just bought, first installation.
first time i ran the launcher the download alternated between stalled and 100kb/s making no significant progress for 10 hours.
when i close and restart the launcher i can get 2mb/s till i’ve downloaded about 500mb, then it’s back to alternating between 0.0 and 100kb/s (mostly at zero).

Usually I would chalk this up to server/network congestion that happened when the patches dropped over the last few days - everyone updating a gb or so is likely to cause some performance issues on the patch servers (beta state)…
I would not expect this same congestion to be happening right now - a good while since the last patch dropped…
Does a WinMTR or tracert provide any indication of the issue? Perhaps there is a messed up route somewhere?
Is your ISP doing anything untoward regarding traffic shaping?
Do you have access to a VPN that you can use to see if the same thing happens via a different network?
