Thanks guys. Missed that somehow. My game isn’t even downloading atm haha. Hopefully this all gets sorted out soon.
It took me a bit to get mine started downloading I just kept restarting the launcher every few minutes, eventually it worked.
Worked for me just now.
It took a bit for me to get the patcher going but it’s been downloading for an hour or so now at 2.0-2.5MB/sec. Less than 10% of my bandwidth but at least it’s moving.
Woohoo steam activation worked on the first try. It also started downloading through steam. Progress.
Nice! I haven’t managed to link my steam yet but I have the standalone working.
What download speed are you getting through Steam?
21 mb/s
0.0 KB/sec…you cannot beat me!
I’ll retry later I think xD
Don’t tell me that im 50%
15 mbps, peak was like 18 mbps.
Hey, I posted in another thread, but your issue seems to revolve around rocket-loader.
I was able to download the standalone client just a minute ago, but now when I visit https://lastepochgame.com/my-steam-key/ or https://lastepochgame.com/my-account/
The javascript buttons are not working and I get the following error in my console:
Uncaught SyntaxError: Invalid or unexpected token
at t.activateScript (rocket-loader.min.js:1)
at rocket-loader.min.js:1
at t.run (rocket-loader.min.js:1)
at rocket-loader.min.js:1
at HTMLScriptElement. (rocket-loader.min.js:1)
That’s super weird. I followed the instructions that a few people gave me and it worked instantly.
Awesome! Got it now! DLing thru steam is a great feeling!
I’m seeing the same thing. Searching suggests that rocket-loader is a Cloudflare optimization - @Sarno do you know if there’s some way to bypass Cloudflare for the Steam Key?
It is. It loads JS elements after the web-page has loaded. This is supposed to give better response times as JS loads afterwards, but if something is causing an error with rocket-loader, then JS elements appear to be not loaded at all.
Cloudflare is a DDoS protection solution, so bypassing it would mean a security issue within the site itself. It’s not supposed to be bypassed. It might be a problem with Wordpress tbh, which means the devs just have to work with them to figure out wtf if Cloudflare is built-in with Wordpress. I’ve never used Wordpress, but just a guess.
