I think people might be overestimating how often peeps will go for full respecs. I certainly have no intention to swap back and forth every time I wanna kill a boss. Once or twice if I’m stumped? Sure. Regularly? Ewwww…

Respeccing every talent point gets annoying when you do it too often. It won’t stop min-maxers, but I don’t think the average shmuck will obsess all that much about the ability to respec on a whim.

One question about Vilatria’s Downfall Reforged does the conversion to lightning change Craterborn to lightning penetration?

Please don’t nerf the loot lizards. They’re amazing little creatures.

Have you guys fixed the issue where the game will freeze/stutter when closing the map overlay? I havent seen any mention of that and its really the only gripe I have with the game. Other than that thanks for the legendary update.

Curious how the rework/rebalance of Void Knight will pan out, I was curious to play Devouring Orb for the longest time now … also happy to see buffs to Black Hole, i would love if it were possible to make it into a main damaging skill somehow (you see the dark/black orbs attract me for some reason …)
But other than that, probably also gonna try Chthonic Fissure Warlock, since my first choice (Aerial Assault or Ballista Falconer) seems to be nuked …

Looks like bonuses to endurance treshold will become a Paladins thing specifically.

This update is massive and looking to try out many classes!

I don’t think the paladin passives / skills come close to making up for the loss of threshold on gloves / rings / relic / helm. Plus if what you were saying were true why punish the other classes by removing a build option? There has to be some other source of threshold that’s been added that we are unaware of, or the dev’s should explain this change a bit more, because that is a pretty massive change.

No it’s never been amazing by itself, ‘‘just remove the mana cost’’ this is the most basic argument you could ever give, you either haven’t played the game enough or don’t know anything about how Sentinel works, what’s amazing for you? How far have you played with ignite warpath without VR?

Does legacy equipment remain as it was?

Is there a place that’s collated all the new uniques? I assumed they’d be here. They’re on LE tools but I don’t know if I can filter by new items.

I don’t see it as a nerf or a loss.
Health is getting buffed all around. More HP per level (from 8 to 10; so +200 at lvl 100), HP affixes will be juicier, idols will give HP in a singular affix instead of 2, many passive changes regarding HP, etc.

Currently, endurance mechanic needs a lot of investment in affixes to be viable. It’s useless to have endurance without endurance threshold, and vice-versa.

In 1.2, you’ll still have a decent threshold with the higher HP pools without having to sacrifice so many important slots on your gear. It will still be possible to bump the threshold with belt and passives from classes that are thematically ‘tanks’.

Overall, I think the design choice is to have less mechanics that depends on multiple affixes to minimally work. They added a Ward + Ward retention affix, a Health + Regen, etc.

I feel like they are spring cleaning the affix pools, making room for eventually new stuff. That’s really exciting to me and I love the changes!

Still sounds a little confusing, probably best to just say “non-idol weaver item”
