Not true for me, I canât play offline. Anyone else with this issue? Any fixes?
Are you going through Steamâs launcher? Because if you normally play online and try to launch an offline game from the main screen, it doesnât work.
But it will work if you do this:
Last Epoch [Right-click] â Properties â General â Launch Options â Select Launch Option: Play Full Offline

Donât want to bother you again, but would you happen to know this: Is there a way to set a desktop shortcut with that launch option? Cause right now I have one and it always launches the non-full offline way. I tried everything I could think of and canât get it to work. Seems only way is to go through the steam app.
In an ideal world I would have 2 desktop shorcuts - one to play offline and one online. Is this even possible? Seems like steam only lets you have 1 shortcut at a time.

Ah Iâm so excited to play Last Epoch again. Started playing again over the past 4/5 days. This patch sounds like itâs going to be awesome! So many changes, fixes, new stuff, âŚ
I think you can copy your existing shortcut but it you go to the properties of the icon, youâll see the target box, something like steam://rungameid/899770 or something at the end add a space and --offline
For example: steam://rungameid/899770 --offline
That should work, I think.

Donât know if youâre aware, but you can select âAsk when starting gameâ in the Launch Options on steam, so you can always choose if you want online or offline when opening the game. That works fine for me.

Was looking forward to new season when I logged in to find:
zero gold in inventory
some class wearable items from loot canât be worn or stashed
zero runes, all wiped
I did find my legacy stash tabs thankfully, but now Iâm broke 
I just bought this game a couple weeks ago, was thoroughly enjoying it up until now. This is unacceptable. No warning in upcoming patch notes. Lost one gaming friend due to this. After disappointments in Diablo IV and PoE2, this may be the last straw. We shall see.

New version means new start for everyone. Unless you want to play Legacy mode, this is an economy reset. This game is not an MMO.

It sounds like he logged in to his legacy character.
I donât think you understand how seasonal ARPGs work. In any case, your character is saved as a legacy character!
Thanks. I was able to make a copy. But couldnât get it to boot offline with your solution. Tried with and without a space before -.
Hmm⌠Donât know why thatâs not working. Only other thing I can think of to recommend is to set the launch options in steam. If you right click Last Epoch in your steam library then click properties then you can set whether itâs automatically online or offline or to ask you each time:
to reroll all the affix values*
