Last Epoch: Shattered Omens Patch Notes

I also strongly disagree with nerfing imprints. I feel like they are in a very good place now. Having MUCH LOWER chance of dropping multiple exalted affixes kills the reason for an endgame grind.

this has totally destroyed putting in the effort to grind for 2-4LP and 3-4t7 items as they are now impossible to obtain.

Oh, so you’ve played Season 4 and know the drop rates first hand?

Imprints are currently the only way CoF players can compete with MG. Taking them away will only affect CoF player retention, as they will hit the item progression wall way sooner. It’s a very disappointing change.

It’s in patch notes 50% less drop chance for imprints plus’s less chance for other exalted mods or how ever it was worded

Not saying it is but if imprint dial back had any connection with player economy/mg complaints/seasonal player complaints. Why not make imprints only work for CoF, or just mg players get 50% less chance or either or to seasonal players. If any of those were the reason at all.

Or as so many like to say/think CoF sucks, how about CoF get extra chance for imprints to drop and they drop with CoF tag so they can never touch market.

Nemesis was able to add exalted affixes to items at very low levels

I get that, I don’t understand the wording, what is the difference between T5+ and T6-T7(exalted). Isn’t T5+ → T6, T7 and so on?

The imprint change puts CoF at an even greater disadvantage to MG now. Please reconsider once the data comes in.

I did not mean the numbers, I mean the FEELING of the drops

I’m unsure what you mean by “feeling” please elaborate if you can so I can properly and accurately reply plz and thanks

Thanks for cooking up this amazing patch! Can’t wait to EAT as a Spellblade this season. The imprint reduction is fine - you don’t need triple/quad T6/7s to make a fun viable build that can take on all content.

There first limitation is a limit up to level 24, the second is a limit to level 51. You must now be at least level 24 before you can get anything T5 or higher, and 51 to get exalted.

If the confusion is around the first limitation reading “T5+” rather than just “T5”, it’s because at 51 when you unlock exalted, the first unlock is still applying. Just a very minor technical/wording thing.

  • Until level 24 you can only get up to T4 affixes from Nemesis
  • At level 24 you unlock T5 affixes from Nemesis
  • At level 51 you unlock Exalted Affixes from Nemesis

  • A new Corruption Ladder tracks the highest level of corruption a character has successfully completed an echo in.
  • In the Ladder menu, there is now a character Mastery indicator for the top 3 listings.

FINALLLY!

Thank you!

Great list of updates and fixes
But I can’t see Brand of Subjugation fix for scaling from chill. So it is still unplayable :disappointed_relieved:

Can we please get some uniques or node buffs that impact randomizing runes and runic invocations? So much of the runic invocation tree is wasted, and having diverse runic invocations is such a fun playstyle (see video) but is not high-corruption viable.

it is hard enough to get usable 3t7 with a 4t7 imprint after runes and julra. a 50% nerf to drop + “much lower” chance of 3-4t7 drops says it all really.

GOATED CHANGE.

I spoke too soon. This is GOATED change.

Without a cooldown is Dancing Strikes attack rate going to scale with your attack speed as well? or does it still have a mostly locked attack speed?

So guaranteed 1lp slams are going away as well? They are an even bigger offender for this.
