You paid for access when the servers are up. You did not pay for access to be available on YOUR schedule. You need to pay attention to what you purchase if you think that’s how live services work. That’s like telling the mechanic that you want to be able to drive your car while he/she performs the oil change on it. You do change your oil, right?
Furthermore, the mechanic at least is giving you a rental (offline mode). So either take the rental, or sit down and wait.

Correct me if I am wrong, but if you play full offline, your character won’t carry to online later, right?
stop pushing this on people. you cant use MTX, you cant use any social aspects, and to play online you will have to start over with a new character. Its not unreasonable to expect a game with 100 people working on it, who had months notice that there was going to be increased traffic, to have the game playable on launch

no, im mad that they told me when it would be ready for weeks, and then i scheduled around that, drove over there, and they told me “sorry not ready, could be hours, could be days, sucks to suck”
