you go ahead and release a game with stable servers for 108k people at once, then come back and clown. They’re gonna get it fixed, just give them a couple of hours

I think I will wait till tomorrow for now its unplayable on EU for me, game is kicking me out constantly. 
I keep getting a message online is unavailable contact support
I managed to create character and killed few enemies and then I was kicked to menu.
It`s understandable season just started I will try later or tomorrow to play online.

They took the game off-line ahead of time to prepare for this…
Plus, with the PoE 2 fiasco, they should have anticipated a lot of participation at launch.

It doesn’t have anything to do with learning. If the issue is the login servers can’t handle the load for example, then it’s a guess when they set those up as to how much capacity they will need. If this was their 13th one, then sure, but the game is still growing. Btw, most of these companies don’t own the actual servers, they usually are using something like Azure AWS other cloud hosting servers so it takes time to spin up additional servers. They can’t just get maximum capacity and tons of servers just in case, cause they’re not free.
And you’ll never be able to play your char online

WASD movement system is what the game was missing, that’s it… simply… divine
Then you aren’t using the full offline mode. Exit client and pick the that option in the game settings.
Will you be able to play online later?
Not with offline chars, no.
And you will have to restart the client again with the login prompt.
