What LE needs is a growing playerbase and Hype. How about having a new Support Tier that includes a free game copy. People will gift them aways or it will be raffled away by streamers.
I have nothing against paid classes, but it should add nothing to old classes. Adding stuff to old class should be free.
Also with your wording I’m almost convinced LE S4 isn’t coming out in January. That’s a bummer. Also the Roadmap doesn’t include anything, like nothing. Almost Blizzard like communication.
Also making expansion means always cutting potential content for seasons. And it makes more work cause more teams to manage and content. Personally I’m not a friend of expansion in an ARPG that wants to be a Life Service Game. But you do you.
I still like AARPGs and play all of them except PoE. So I’m not so harsh on paid content if the game is still fun with the class I play. And I only play Mage - Sorc or Spellblade. And with Mike teasers so far I’m looking forward to play Spellblade in S4.
If us, as community, continue to call for a scam every time EHG tries to make an absolutely legitimate earning, then the community is screwed, and so the game.
I’ve seen some completely incomprehensible Falconer nerfs, which, instead of nerfing broken meta passives, nerf the entire class, essentially killing any build except the meta one.
Also, last season, I saw players, including myself, screaming about a bug in the Lich’s key passive in the very first days. But there was no fix for a very long time.
So I’m not sure the class I bought won’t suffer the same fate. I vowed not to donate to the game until the localization is fixed. Apparently, that opportunity won’t arise again.

if it won’t change much then they wont have any problem making the change. ur essentially arguing that this is just semantics, but I disagree. also im someone who spends $ on this game and I don’t want to have 2 tiers of players, those who pay and those who don’t. it’s reasonable to charge for specific new content releases i think saying we’re going to charge u for classes is a step too far for me.
there’s plenty of things to monetize here, they have a big enough team to make plenty of content, adding PAID classes isn’t it. and im not anti-paying $ or anti them charging for shit, but its like u cant charge for classes.

why is the class lock behind a paywall ? i mean… the game isn’t free to play, are we going toward that direction ? because if we are, i’m out, i don’t support pay to win, pay to fast or anything like that, if you need money, ask the communoty, up the price of the game a little bit, add battle pass for mtx or shit like that, i don’t want a game where i should pay stuff to have fun,
Don’t worry, I didn’t take it personally and I can understand the frustration, but they said on Reddit that buying the class wasn’t mandatory to play the game. Regarding the payment aspect, I’m just saying that the base game costs around thirty euros and that, generally speaking, a skin purchase is around 10 euros, so I don’t think a new class will cost more than that. Personally, though, this is just my opinion. I prefer having free content, being able to play new content, etc. And why not, if the class seems fun to play, pay for it rather than ending up with no content and a class that only works with a single build, like in Diablo 4.
