Here, I´ll help you understand.
Because having a character that is unfit to play any endgame content due to minions not attacking is annoying af.
The question is, am I faster levelling and equipping a new character to be able to play endcontent (key-dungeons and whatnot) before they fix the problem or should I wait??
How would you feel if you put an immense amount of time into a character (levelling and equipping) that, once it reached lvl 90 and is going for endcontent, is still(!) unable to perform the way it was meant to be.
Asking for an eta on certain fixes is just appropriate imo.
I agree. The armor shred missing from the Bazaar search function is a problem. Hopefully they can fix it quickly.
An ill-mannered person resorting to personal attacks at the first opportunity is teaching me how to think? Sounds ridiculous.
Leper skin and necrosis node for lich is still broken since march 2023. Can we fix this hopefully in this decade?
That’s exactly what I call an adequate reaction. I also really hope they fix it soon.
Thanks for all the hard work!
Any word on when the Flame Rush will be fixed? It’s build breaking for me, I cannot do harder content when FR is leaving me constantly stuck.
You need to reset the ladder after the bug fixes… Every build in top 10 is BUGGED builds…
You will not be able to compete with a bugged warlock build… If the ladder wont get reset’ed there is no point for us who cares about that to play anymore…
So, you think that it takes more than a month to fix a search query in the filter?
I’m not qualified to make claims like that of the development team. And in spite of your apparent background in programming, neither are you. You don’t even know what code repository they use, what their priority system is that determines what gets fixed first, what their testing and deployment cycles are. So I am saying that you throwing out claims based on your own experience does not make them true.
I’m simply asking you to stop defending the developers for no reason.
I’m not defending anyone. I am saying that your outsider perspective claim of this bug being a 5-minute fix is false.
Such things should be fixed by at least the fourth patch, and I want to point out that the game has been around for not just one month but five years,
The game has been in release state for less than a month, a week of which was spent simply getting things stable. And:
yet every day new ways to duplicate gold and items are found.
Not sure what that has to do with your claim. But again, as someone familiar with programming, I shouldn’t have to explain that there’s an internet full of people who are constantly probing and attempting to find vulnerabilities that can be exploited. Meaning that warding off stuff like this is an endless cat and mouse game.
I’m writing all this not because I want to offend or anything like that, but because I enjoy playing this game and want attention to be paid to these matters.
That’s understandable. However, going about it in the way you choose to and throwing out claims that are demonstrably false only gets you labels like “entitled” and “Karen”. Talking about how you’ve reported it 5 times and nobody has responded to you is the height of arrogant self-importance. You are assuredly not the only person to report this bug. They know about it. But again, unfortunately, you getting salty about the timetable to fix it is wasted energy and accomplishes nothing.
Great update! Consider when making large changes, they come together, arena key sell price nerf and stash tab cost, as an example.
Edit: Please fix Flame Rush - It is borderline game breaking when it randomly doesn’t work on certain terrains/stairs.
In your words, there’s a grain of truth, and I can agree with you on many points. Perhaps I’m wrong about something. I just don’t understand the prioritization. What to choose? Lower the volume of the hawk? Or fix the search error in the already inconvenient auction?
Bird up !! Legalize ranch !! You gotta get vertical instead of horizontal my mulado !
Great set of fixes and changes. This is what we want to see! There’s a lot more bugs to get to, so keep it up.
You hit it. BTW I’m not trying to attack you at all. All we see from the outside is that something doesn’t work, and we want it fixed. It’s an understandable reaction. However, if they were to open the curtain and show the whole start to finish process of what goes into making changes, 99% of the playerbase would sit there going “Uhh…”
Perspective matters. In the end, everything on a fix-it list has to be assigned a priority. And unfortunately, that means that not everyone is left happy, because somewhere out there is the person whose issue is dead last on the list even though it means the world to them.
I have played about 60hours~ on the wraith lord build and I wanna scratch my eyes out on how horrible the AI is but honestly I can wait for them to fix it and I feel the pain of dying so many times and losing so many monolith rewards because the wraith was not killing shit and was doing tokyo drifts instead. There are more bigger bugs to be fixed before this one but I see people ignore that and just focus on what they want to have fixed and complain about it. It happens man. Its life its games nowadays. Its also not a company with 2k people working at it 20 hours a day. I cant even imagine how many of them might have their own families and children waiting for them to live their life not fix your bug. Yes it is their job and I am sure they are doing their best so again. Patience. You see they actually fix things and communicate with their playerbase so they are clearly doing their job.
I understand you point that its a small company. But Im asking for an eta so I can make plans! My time is limited.
And wouldnt it also be a priority to fix a character so ppl can actually play that character they invested time in?
Idc about sound/music, UI, Merchants Guild, prices on stash tabs or multiplayer. It´s all useless if a character is unplayable imo.
With 15, I self-taught myself programming and created a few small programs. I understood programming. I could write code. Then I joined a rather large company and learned that I didn’t know shit about real software development, working in large team projects, project management, QA, documentation, etc.
So, do you understand programming, or do you understand large team software development?
I was not asking when the bugfix was going to happen, I was asking what is bugged about Infernal Shade right now lol
It’s that unity engine
Well you see you do not care about the bugs others care so why should they care about your bugs. Priorities exist and are not based on what we want/prefer.
Kain themselves, not EHG as a whole, does not have the information on hand.
