Last Epoch Patch 1.0.2 Notes

This, warlocks are ruining the game.

wait is that why it is that way? then its actually not even a nerf just fixing a bug to do what the devs intended… imagine what would happen in games like league… they would ban such bug abusers… and disable the champion until they have a fix… here nah we dont care about this let them dominate ladder… guess i need to level my warlock and farm 2000 corruption myself…

This is the opportunity to remove the bugs in warlock as well, even if they don´t affect servers. You either fix all the bugs mid cycle or you fix non of the bugs mid cycle. This half / half shit just makes it worse.

but how are they ruining the game ?
and if you say ladders KEKW it’s literally who holds left click and presses right click the longest
why would you look for a multiplayer competitive thing in a ARPG ? XD

But like League is meant to be a competitive game xDD this is an arpg xD

they basically did not nerf warlock at all

This decision to not fix the warlock bug is inane for so many reasons. What if a bug was causing a skill to underperform, would you still not fix it? Or is it only when a skill would be weaker. by fixing it And what if it’s just “slightly” weaker, would you then fix it? it’s not hard to see how ridiculous this is. Secondly if you set a precedent of not fixing bugs which are causing skills to grossly overperform until the end of a cycle, you are setting yourselves up to have a compromised and imbalanced game PERMANENTLY because there are always going to be bugs, and some of these will cause skills to overperform. You have a fantastic product here, please apply the same conscientiousness to bugs and balance as you do to other aspects of the game. It feels dumb to not use this interaction in warlock because of how overpowered it is. Please fix, and in future hotfix on day 1

After patch i cant search unique items on bazaar. I write the name of a unique item, but it is not highlighted.
And add “shred armor on hit” on bazaar pls

I think the priority of addressing server stability is 100% the right move. I would agree with others, that in the future, if a build is overpowered because it is bugged, then it should be addressed.

normal builds can do 300 corruption to 1000 corruption xD by that stance they could buff all other builds so int boosts minion damage by 40% per int etc… ward gain on health lost oops we buffed it now its 200%

If they fixed the math on warlock it would still be S tier top 5 builds in the game. It would still be pushing corruption at 500+. Its not like the build will be weak or peoples “fun” will be ruined, they just wont be basically immortal anymore with no investment. Its not just OP, its a literal bug they are leaving in the game, consciously.

The problem was Smoke Bombs staying on the ground forever between the monolith stages. I had a problem that whenever I finished an Echo run I had to wait a couple seconds before I could move because the game had trouble loading all the Smoke Bombs that were still there from previous runs.

Bugs should be fixed, period.

You’re overcorrecting on mid-season balance because Blizzard likes to play the balance game mid-season. There’s a happy medium where you’re not fine tuning balance mid-season, but also making sure obvious bugs/unintended, extreme outlier cases are resolved.

There should never be a skill interaction that makes you pretty nigh invincible. Because that affects the integrity of the game. Not because it screws other people who don’t play the game over, but because it skews how people view the game. Can anyone honestly go from easily blasting through extremely high corruption to all of a sudden drop to normal levels?

There are people who share your current view, but as you can see, there are many who think the line has been crossed. You are not the Judiciary or Congress where laws have to be strictly adhered to (and even they don’t). You are a game company that has the power and justification to keep the integrity of your game. Please change your stance on this and fix the bug.

Yeah, nothing changed, EGH can’t handle their balance issues, since 0.9 it has been as this and it’s just worse now. A bug meta fiesta, and one frustrating statement that you Devs do not want to have a negative effect on some players abusing the bugs.
This mentality baffles me, specially because you are a team capable of so many great things and with potential to handle much more difficult situations, but yet you are afraid to make bug abusers unhappy.

just the icing on the cake about this joke of a patch.
MG Players already have many ways to get gold. These keys with original price dont hurt economy.

This is clear a bad move, and I really dont know how EHG can not see things like those bugs standing the whole cycle will hurt the longevity of the game.

EHG this is the first thing that has made me second guess playing this game since I started in late beta. This is also why I don’t get involved with Ladders myself. When immature people EXPLOIT and get recognition for it, that is just sad. But when you guys allow it to happen and stay that way, you are letting the rest of the community down. This breads bad mentalities and grows an unhealthy community because this actively pushes all the “good” players that don’t need exploits away. If it’s a bug…FIX IT…regardless of butt-hurting anyone. Please fix this asap. Allowing it undermines the overall value of anything worth playing.

I don’t understand how they can say they don’t want to introduce balance-changes mid-cycle but do such a big balance-change.

balance-changes are not only limited to skills…

Lots of community feedback coming in regarding profane not being fixed. I guess we’ll see if it’s enough to get EHG to act.

the setup is with the stance that ppl that would want to build legit builds will try a cycle see a bugged top build and leave again … if i would be sitting at EGH the bug would be fixed and leaderbord entrys with this bug would be deleted…

To be clear, im not arguing for nerfs, im arguing for bug fixes

I’m MASSIVELY disappointed. “We won’t balance change mid cycle” is not a reasonable stance to begin with. It’s a cop out hard stance on procedure, it’s easy to follow and implement, but terrible from any other perspective. People becoming invincible for zero investment is nothing short of a bad joke and EHG defending this reflects incredibly poorly on their ability to make the game fun and balanced. Most exploits will always be found within a couple weeks after cycle launch. Keeping those exploits for MONTHS for NO REASON is unacceptable, period. Get your things together, create a BETTER GAME when possible. People who use exploits SHOULD have their build destroyed, they even deserve it when they build around it. I’m so angry. This is insane
