First massive L since 1.0 for EHG imo. Contradicting yourselves in the same patch notes is not a good look.
No balance changes shouldn’t mean No bug fixes. And still nerfing keys and xp tome ? Hard to understand what you’re trying to achieve here.
It’s a skill that allow you to dodge everything for multiple seconds all the while generating 50-100k wards as a bonus
I’m apparently going to have to go against the trend here and say to EHG that you are making the right decision. Nerfs mid-league, even bug fixes, should be avoided. This isn’t a PvP game, it’s a PvE game and someone else using a bugged skill to get bigger numbers has no affect on me.
What would have an affect is suddenly having my character nerfed mid cycle, it would likely cause me to go find another game to play. No, I’m not playing whatever skill is being talked about here, I’m playing a Spellblade atm.
If it’s causing servers to crash, yes fix it. If it’s just causing something to be stronger or weaker than intended, fix it for the next cycle. Anything else is unfair to your players. Before someone says it’s unfair that X skill is bugged and too powerful, it’s not unfair as it has zero effect on you as this isn’t a PvP game.

I think you should fix the skill and create a new 1.02 ladder. It is clearly not working as intended and don’t think any warlock can really be angry about a fix
Reaching high corruption or high arena wave is incredibly boring. it just take too long and it is repetitive. i really don’t want to push more arena or corruption because of the grind
I was able to get a really good character and I think i won’t play much more this cycle. End game needs more things to do.
In any case, if you do or don’t the change, I respect your decission and I still like the game and play again in the future

But… they did nerfs mid-league already? Did you not read the patch notes? They’re selectively “fixing” certain things while leaving other broken (confirmed by them to be broken) things in.
Man, I just spent 120k favor in goddamn arena key prophecies right before reading this, when I could have spent it on actually useful uniques? EHG practically decided to delete my favor randomly while a bunch of dudes are abusing a bug in 2k corruption. AND TO TOP IT ALL OFF, I’m not even rank 10 CoF, so now I ahve to work harder than everyone else to achieve the SAME thing! IN THE MIDDLE OF A CYCLE! It’s just as bad or even worse than nerfing a build mid-cycle!
I was expecting so much more from this patch… totally disappointed.
It does have an impact on me, because it means I can’t run those nodes as intended without abusing a bug, so i have to intentionally limit what I use in my builds.
uhh isnt profane veil also bugged? the tooltip says 4% of minion hp but people did tests and its clearly bugged to be 40%, so why not fix it too???
Could you make it so existing smoke bombs are removed on zone change to keep the build while reducing its effect on servers?
I’m not sure if this was actually fixed? When using a controller, then moving the mouse at all the controls return to keyboard bindings.

+1 on this… fixing bugs isn’t concidered nerfs imo… People are bug abusing to get insane amounts of ward with almost no downtime…
Having 7-800k ward makes nobody want to play warlock without that node… Feels bad when you know you can just skill a bit differently and be immortal…
100 percent, everyone who amassed gold already and/or got CoF 10 already have such a huge advantage because they are making this change mid cycle. Not to mention anyone, like yourself, who wasted favor for now useless arena key prophecies. But bugged builds in 2k+ corruption amassing gross amounts of gold and rare items to mess with the MG economy is fine?
People using these interactions know that they’re bugs, they absolutely should be fixed mid-cycle. It also affects the economy in that people using the bug can produce vastly more gold and better rolled/more exalted items. This stance is absolutely not acceptable.
All these nerf calls… I was hoping lack of PVP would let people play as they like without some diluting “balance” concerns, but seems the leaderboards are having the same negative effect.
D4 had this stance and it ruined a whole season. Nobody wants to see everyone playing 1 or 2 builds because a bug makes them 100x stronger then anything else.
Just fix the bugs.
- Fixed most instances of a bug where channeled movement skills, particularly Flame Rush and Shield Rush, could lock the player into the movement and not visually move the player until the ability ended
This is also an issue with the Javelin skill with the movement passive specced. You get stuck in an animation if you try to teleport to the javelin and it is not in a reachable location.
If you don’t want to nerf ward users, maybe buff no-ward builds a little so they can feel like they can compete?
I mean the difference between ward and no ward is like 3-4x power, a little help to get no-ward builds to at least 50% effectiveness wouldn’t hurt.
The key and xp nerf hit me really hard ! I love rerolling char and and I keep a lot of items in my stash… those two were the only way for CoF to farm some gold/favor and buy more tabs… I really hope you guys gonna bring it back as it was for years now.
I don’t really care about leaderboard but I think a bug should be patched as soon as identified.
I love LE since the beginning but for the first time I really feel disappointed and frustrated by one of your decision…
I believe in you EHG so I really hope you’ll think about it again
