Not only Season 3. If we look back the only ‘decent’ ones were Cycle ‘0’ and Cycle 2.
Release was a buggy hell and the factions haven’t been fixed up properly yet, soon 2 years old content which is just messy still, too long simply.
Season 1 was Harbingers, Aberroth and Nemesis as the main points. Nemesis is a small-scale system and badly implemented (it shouldn’t be in the campaign but only afterwards encountered) while the Harbingers are 2 variants which have altered versions of the boss-mechanics simply tacked on and a single boss. It’s very low variety but was oversold heavily.
Season 2 took a year, which makes the size a necessity… and still EHG didn’t fix up a large portion of the issues people complained about.
Season 3 we all know how it went.
Their results are lackluster by now. Overselling, underperforming, lack of polish. From ‘let em cook’ in EA they went to ‘it’s simply not up to par’ since 1.0.
Which is a shame to see… but that’s what you get from overexpanding non-stop rather then staying small and making a myriad of bad decisions one after another.

No statement means only one thing: this is going to be a paid expansion. Or, less likely, but still possible - they’re not sure what to report back to Krafton overlords and are testing our reaction. Don’t hesitate to share your opinion here.
personally i love the nemesis system and think its one of the best mechanics in any of the arpgs i have played. the possibility of getting build changing items early is a good thing imo.
Not if the campaign is designed without them in mind and isn’t properly adjusted accordingly.
I agree with the build defining items, functionality like getting uniques and even LP uniques early on is fine, same as the special bases… but exalted items (which are locked behind the level 90 monoliths) and even further along legendaries (which are locked behind exaltes and beating Temporal Sanctum) to be accessible in the mid-campaign already is just a disastrously bad design.
EHG has stated numerous times in the past that all future content is free. The game was sold as “you buy the game, that’s it, every future update is free.” If they went back on their word it will piss off a lot of players because EHG will have essentially sold the game on a lie.
Please add keyboard and mouse support on ps5 just like diablo 4 and other games have. Would be a shame if you guys disabled features that are already available.
Lord of Destruction was an expansion, because it added additional story to the FINISHED game. Currently the base game isn’t finished so I don’t understand why are you releasing an expansion.
This game barely has any players, and you’re already releasing paid expansions. I’m not buying it; this game just isn’t good enough. I’d rather buy Diablo 4 expansions.
To the people complaining that the expansion will probably be paid, see ya! The expansion will obviously be paid and won’t be free. If you like the game and you want to support the developers, you shouldn’t be upset. I will happily chuck them some money if it means continuing support for the game.
Issue is EHG has never used the word expansion before. And generally majority of the time expansion are paid content. EGH using expansion instead of season. Is a red flag. Especially now after they sold out to krafton.
Lets hope this isnt a paid expansion. This is another thing people where pointing out krafton is known for doing stuff like this. Even tho EHG said theh will never do paid expansions/seasons
If it does become paid content well all i can is we know where this game is heading. And well many of us warned about this track record krafton has. Basically those of us pointing out kraftons past becomes a we told u so moment.
