Lots of interesting stuff here! Several notes and questions:
Can chapter 10 of campaign scale to your current maximum Corruption level if you already completed the campaign and started the endgame? This is especially relevant for Standard realm players who might want to continue the plot, but likely would not like just oneshotting everything on the way.
I’m glad to finally see a fire / Ignite damage scaling unique, but Amulet slot would make fire builds lose access to things like Nihilis / Omnis and cause a massive loss because of that and either need to be compensated with (over)powerful effects to justify using new unique or would cause additional issues. Could it just be switched to other slot (for example ring) to address that?
Primordial Exalts are interesting and their affixes are definitely stronger than usual (common Exalted Meteor affix provides +4 levels while primordial provides +6 levels etc), but I really hope that they can be migrated to Legendary items too, otherwise they will be just used as levelling items only. I doubt that exalts with slightly stronger affix(es) can really compete with 3-4 LP legendary items.
Really glad to see extended filters for Merchants Guild. Searching for tens if not hundreds of pages for items with fitting thresholds was really exhausting. Hopefully these filters can apply not only to unique items.
Since character appearing at the end is clearly a Spellblade is that a hint for his boost / improvements too? Even if not it clearly could use some boosts alongside Sorcerer and maybe even Mage in general.
no they already confirmed that campaign will remain static and not scale with anything.
A large majority of players will play with a fresh char anyway and trying to accomodate a few people playing with existing chars just to keep the power feel in check would consume a lot of ressources for minimal benefit.
Same will be true for any other build. Nihilis and Omnis are very strong, some builds benefit more than others from it though.
With the Set and Champion affixes added in 1.2 you can clearly see the direction EHG is trying to move. Make more rarities that are mutually exclusive with legendaries to make more competition for them.
You really thing an affix ~50% stronger than a T7 is only for leveling?
What uniques are you refering to with 3-4LP? Probably mostly medicre uniques anyway and no realy endgame uniques. Getting those with 3-4 LP is nothing you will get anyway and most of the uniques that are realistically obtainable with 3-4LP very often do not have that great of a base and/or stat budget even with 4 legendary stats they are not strictly superior.

No the Mage is just a returning character from all of the other cinematics.
As Heavy said, campaign will remain static. Having a chapter 10 on a standard character now is no different from simply jumping to monos immediately after unlocking your passives/idols anyway. It wasn’t mandatory before and many players never finished it on alts anyway.
If you already finished the campaign you already have the +1 to stats reward anyway (it was now moved to the end of act 10).
2- Again, like Heavy said, this is true for any build. Should they not do any other amulets any more just because Nihilis/Omnis exist? Should they also not create any more relics because Shattered Worlds exist?
If you have a ignite build, you’ll get more value from that amulet than from a Nihilis/Omnis, so it’s balanced that way.
3- Pretty much no build uses exclusively legendary gear. All of them have at least 1-2 exalts, with many running more than that. This just makes exalted gear better and more competitive with them.
The goal is to have a mix of exalted and legendary gear (and primordial as well, now) and preferably some set gear as well.
4- From the way it was shown in the trailer, I’d say that this only applies to uniques for now, otherwise they would have shown it. But I’m guessing that it will eventually be done for normal items anyway.
5- Since this season is mostly focused on necro/lich and minions, they won’t get that much. They will certainly get some boosts, as will all classes, but theirs will be minimal in comparison.
Should be stated on the item then to avoid the obvious. Hope that’s done in the release version.
Or make it side-specific, like ‘left ring’ or ‘right ring’.
Now I can have access to the things I paid for back when cosmetics were available in offline mode, and have a reason to purchase additional cosmetics to support you guys.
Out of curiosity, where do you think the $96m EHG was bought for went? I’ll make it easy for you & make it a multi choice question.
A) The original shareholders who had a minimum of 51% of the original shares bought by Keafton
B) The company (this would be an investment & the acquisition could have been structured such that $Xm went to the shareholders & $Ym was injected into the company with a third possibility of a much smaller $Zm being paid out to some/all of the employees as a bonus for their hard work in getting the company to this stage/etc).
Reading this and your other posts, you seem incapable of answering without resorting to condescension. Is that scratching some superiority complex itch for you?
I tend to respond to the tone of the message I’m replying to, especially when there’s a lot of people that don’t appear to understand how things work (because they aren’t accountants which is fair enough). But apologies if it came across as a smidge condescending.
Thank you for proving my point, and quite impressively I might add. That was quite the arrogant response I expected.
You know nothing about me. How do you know I’m not an accountant, run my own (very) successful business, or work at a games company? You don’t have a clue.
You act like you actually work in the EHG accounts department based on your defensive and “highly knowledgeable” posts. Is this wishful thinking?
But GG for proving my point that you have a superiority complex and assume WAY more than you should about other people or their knowledge, as evidenced by this and many of your other posts.
To use a term you’re fond of, you come across as a complete twat.
This is true, but if you were a qualified accountant or someone versed in M&A (I’m not but I have had some professional exposure to it) you probably wouldn’t have said that EHG no longer needs the cash. Unless you’ve read the terms of the sale (I haven’t either).
