Last Epoch Multiplayer & Linux (SteamOS)

Hello,

first of all I’m not sure whether this belongs in tech support or here or somewhere else… I hope this is the right subforum.

I was hoping to participate in the Open Beta Multiplayer weekend, but… that is apparently only available for Windows and I was not able to get it to run in any way or form on SteamOS/Linux.

The normal 0.8x versions have all been running great without a problem…
from what I could find on Discord, I don’t seem to be the only Linuxer in that situation?

→ is it just a Beta thing, that Linuxers cannot run the Beta MP and will we be able to run it once it merges into the normal game? or will LE stop working on Linux with patch 0.9?

I was able to play the weekend open beta on Linux desktop (Manjaro and using Proton Experimental runner in Steam). Kinda found this to be more performant than running the native version for earlier builds, so its been what I’ve defaulted to.
