For accessibility, I programmed my right click to also use the W key so I can use two skills for one. Right click is Rip Blood and W is Dread Shade. Combined to one key, it lets me use Dread shade immediately after CD so it’s always up. I can just worry about spamming rip blood.
Issue is, I have a feeling this is against the rules. Can anyone confirm if I risk a ban for this? I’m playing HC Character found so i’m not affecting a single thing in realm so I can’t see why it should matter?
They don’t even ban china bots (as you can see from the ladder). The risk of you being banned because of this is almost 0%.
My opinion: Bots are a problem for the game. AHK not
Yeah but your oppinion is invalid if he asks for the ruling. BTW if you use the search funtion and search for the question in your topic you even find the devs answer on it.
If you really want to be sure, you should ask on LE’s discord. Devs will answer there and give you a definitive answer.
As far as I know, if you want to do that for playing offline, you’re good. You can use mods and macros as long as they don’t change the game files or react to the game state. Since that’s just a binding to cast 2 skills, it’s safe.
I can’t say for sure if that also applies to online, so make sure to ask them.
Alternatively, you can try using the NumLock trick, which would provide the same automated mechanic for Dread Shade (or whichever skill you want to be constantly using off CD), without worrying about legal issues.
I appreciate the replies! Looks like it’s technically against the rules then? IDK, my left arm has limited movement, so i’m going to keep using it. I feel like it’s pretty harmless. If I get banned, i’ll make a post either here (If I can), or Reddit to warn others.
