The tentacles that block the exits come down trapping my minions on the wrong side…sucks
You mean your minions get trapped outside of the arena? I’ve never had this happened to me and all I play are minion builds (not meaning to dismiss your experience.)
Can you get a screenshot of this happening? Wonder if its a weird lag bug?
I just beat the fight so I’m not sure if I can go back to get a screenshot. This was happening when I go up the stairs on the right side. After reading a tip about staying left, I went up the left stairs and I could get further up before the fight started, allowing my minions to join me.

I had the same issue couple days ago on my first encounter with Lagon during the campaign. As I went up the stairs to start the fight, at least half of my minions were hard stuck behind the tentacle that blocks the stairs when the fight starts because I likely have higher movement speed than them.
