Since people seem to be getting confused, I’m talking about ASSIGNING LMB to a skill while ALSO still being able to click NPCs and interact with the world and whatever else. I’m not talking about lack of movement or the ability to use the LMB… from what I understand, we CAN assign it but we lose functionality on anythign else that LMB now, forcing a change of interaction button… which feels really bad.
Keep on cooking! The game itself is great, the campaign is a bit easy but I’ll be pushing through end-game today when I get home. I’m super happy with the game though overall, story is interesting, the systems and crafting are the best of any ARPG… keep doing your thing!
I’m not saying I can’t, sometimes clicking NPCs can be odd and keep me running past them while using WASD (not pressing any buttons though). It’s a minor issue, I just want to be able to use my left click for a skill without adding movement to it.
There is certainly some wonkiness with mouse clicks and WASD and keybinds.
I bound left click to the skill to the left of the move-action on the action bar, so I have a skill on left click and a skill on right click… BUT…
I am using F for interact, which makes picking up loot feel weird because it’s not “hold F → click”, it’s literlaly using F as the pickup/door click.
It’s weird that the “move” graphic ability is visually on my bar, even when im not using it
It’s weird that when using left click for interacting with inventory and npcs sometimes my “left click spell” goes off randomly through UI windows.
I don’t really prefer WASD in Last Epoch… as it feels weird going through diagnol areas that were not “aligned” with WASD directions… but hundreds of hours of WASD in POE2 made my mind used to the interaction, so i’m thankful the option is there.
