Geeeez this had me laughing so hard today after respeccing my skills and passives coz I thought I messed up there. I thought I was going bananas. Thank god my weapon was still in the Forge. XD
dude! i didnt pick up my belt and was RAGING cause i didnt have any potions and none would drop either. it legit took me 20 minutes to figure that my belt is still in the forge.
The reason it stays in the forge (which is the same for PoE) is because, if you have a full inventory, it wouldn’t know where to put it when you closed it. It would be worse to place it on the floor and then you left and it’s gone. So it’s safer to leave it there.
Well Im used to placing a sort of “copy” into the blacksmith (of some other games), reroll it and when I close the blacksmith its still equipped. Like I never took it even off my character. It basically stays on my character and overwrites it with new perks so I can just close the blacksmith without equipping it again coz it never left my character. XD
Yes, this would be nice. I expect they didn’t do that due to technical issues and this was easier to implement. Maybe they’ll change it to that in the future.
hah yea, i kinda expected it to work that way. ^^ lesson learned 
happened to me on the last story boss btw. i was seriously close to tilt-mode
