Kindly Requesting EGH's Direction For Last Epoch

Hi! I like to invest myself in games and learn stuff about it. A recent conversation in discord chat with the community is basically what is making me ask this question. Therefore, I would like to request a response from EGH to decide whether or not this game is for me.

Is Last Epoch going to be a game where everything boils down spell automation and is always the top performer and vastly superior to active playstyles or will Last Epoch have somewhat of a balance between automated playstyles and active playstyles that require multiple button pressings, moving etc?

I’m not EHG, but natively automated skills make up less than 1% of available skills in the game.

I don’t know what the distribution is like but people were talking about how things that are auto proccing/spaming etc are just superior when compared to direct casts.

That’s because it’s easier. EHG have always said they want an active gameplay which is why we don’t have thorns/reflect as much of a thing (outside of a few very niche builds).
