Killed by Raging Soul in soulfire bastion with immunity and no warning

I was doing soulfire bastion when i was killed by a blow dealing 9023 fire damage. I had my immunity shield up, but it seems like it did not work at all.

I also had 75% fire res (or close), but I dont know i that did anything. If fire res works the way I think it does, it means that the blow should have done around four times that damage, ie 36000.

I got no clear indication that a big hit was incoming either.

In other words, it looks like this enemy is bugged. Is it possible to have my character restored as HC?

I’m hoping chars can be restored. Dying to this on my HC druid really took the wind out of my sails for this season, sadly.
