I made a new character After the patch today. And the same bug with The Keeper Vault happened. EXCEPT this time I can’t interact with the guard AT ALL. The NPC followed me. He’s there. Cannot interact with the guard. I cannot progress the game whatsoever. I’ve gone back to the previous area and redone the whole part of the quest with the old man. I’ve logged out and in. I’ve restarted the game. NOTHING allows me to talk to the guard. Every other area respawns enemies except the area with the guard. This should be high priority.

This just happened to me as well and after retrying on TWO separate characters and trying everything i finally found something that worked for me. If youre playing the game on something with a touchscreen tap the guard with the touch screen to start the dragon coming to get him. No idea why this works but i did it out of pure desparation and it worked so idk. Hopefully it works for you.

I just tried what DesAial did and it worked for me too except I used mouse click instead of controller

Dude you are a life saver! I play on a Legion Go and the touchscreen trick worked. Must be a bug with the controller support parts of the last patch. Thanks!
