Rolling out this much content, with all of the changes is bound to create some disfunction. I refuse to allow that to take away from the sheer volume of new content to explore, new items to experiment with, and new builds to try. Just bringing cosmetics to offline for the first time is bound to create issues, so you guys have your work cut out for you for the next week at least.
Everyone has done a wonderful job with creating everything. I look forward to the crash fixes and the opportunity to start that awesome, uninterrupted grind. It’s unfortunate that people prefer to complain, but hopefully the majority of us can get over the inconveniences and enjoy the content.
Thank you again, for the game, your time, and all of your hard work. Good luck with everything!

Only issue I had so far with it is that when you select for some MTX categories, like skill MTX and evade MTX, it shows all available MTX, even ones you didn’t buy. This makes it hard to know which you have or not and equip them.
Especially evade that has like 20 available oens.

I’m crashing every time I perform more than 5 actions at the stash. It’s riddled with issues, but I expect as much with the changes to snapshotting and store into offline integration. Those two things alone has probably riddled the stability of the game with countless holes.
Yea this season will have us theorycrafting for a long time with new builds.
Might be related to something else, though. I’m not having any issues whatsoever with the stash or with anything else.
Might be worth trying to do the same in online and if it crashes, send a bug report.
Sadly we can’t send bug reports from offline, though I did make a suggestion that we do so. Or that we the data file so we can send them, as someone else suggested.
Oh I play online exclusively, I just assumed that the change in code might have been universal or something (concerning offline cosmetic accessibility). I can see how that would have implied offline play.
I have been submitting my big reports next session following crashes, and in session when experiencing lag spikes. It seems that it is a memory leak associated with stash interactions. I can watch my RAM usage spike consistently 2-4 seconds after moving an item into the stash from my inventory, or even moving an item within it’s own tab to a different spot. The more actions that take place, the longer the lag will last, with too many actions consecutively resulting in a easily replicated crash.
Crashes are more likely to happen the longer the session lasts, and I have experienced the same behavior with any content that needs stash interaction. That includes Nemesis, Farsight Turtle, Gauntlet of Strife, and Oerden’s Watch. I have crashed immediately during or shortly after closing the stash with each of the listed experiences, and if I wait without closing the stash, the same freeze will occur around the same amount of time. If I simply open the stash and navigate the tabs without moving the items, I experience no real issues. So with the data collected, it leads me to conclude that issue is tied directly to moving the items. As someone who doesn’t code, I have no idea why it would happen, and my fix for now is avoiding it all together.
It’s not a common issue, as I haven’t seen anyone else complain about it, so it’s not likely to be a memory leak, but rather some interaction with your computer, most likely hardward or drivers.
Bug reports will definitely help them pinpoint the issue.
In the meantime, since it might be kinda related, maybe this also fixes your issue?
This was for those stuttering in the login screen, but it might also be kinda related? Worse case scenario is that it does nothing.
It’s an issue I am commonly getting from people playing in legacy. A large number of people have been communicating the same issue, so I am certain it isn’t an isolated event or just my hardware. I have alleviated some of the other issues by changes optimization settings, but aside from the stash interaction, I am having very few issues in terms of gameplay. I will check out the link you sent me though and let you know if it does anything for what is going on. With that being said, it may very well be something occurring in legacy then.
I only play in Legacy. Online until recently, offline now. I have about 60-70 tabs and I’ve had no issue.
Maybe it’s an issue for when you have closer to 200?
When Mike was asked on stream (more than once) about adding more stash tabs, he did say it’s hard enough already to make them perform with 200.
As for your original question, it’s not likely the offline MTX is linked in any way to the stash. It might, but not likely, since they don’t interact.
It is more likely, however, that the stash search filter improvements they added is causing this. Since those do imply changing the stash code.
Anyway, you’ve already reported it, they have the data, not much else you can do other than to try to work around it, I guess.
