Javeline Divine Fury lightning spears hit for considerably less damage than the primary javelin throw. For my current character, a javelin crits for around 1500, but the spears only crit for around 500. Scaling seems off/wrong.
Lightning spears is a sub skill that indeed do less damage than the initial hit of the Javelin. That is intended for balancing purposes. The spears still scale with modifiers in the tree that affect Javelin such as critical strike increases and more damages etc. They will always do considerably less damage because they have lower base damage.
