Hai guys, I am new and just got the game. After enjoying poe2 I thought I might try this game also! I think I will give no rest for the wicked a go if it ever makes it out of EA.
I would like to know if items from supporter packs can be bought on their own later as I understand that poe does this I was hoping last epoch does too. I would like the sakura petal dash effect from the higher tier supporter pack but none of the other items interest me. Same with the little capybara for the other pack.
One other unrelated question did they make any mention of changes to gender locking? It’s similar in poe2 with classes being gender locked but with them I did find a dev post of they were looking into making it purchasable later to play as the other gender. It’s been my main annoyance with these games, I don’t like playing as male but I love druid archetype and in every arpg they are male! For now I stick to female characters in both games
Is GGG with any of their PoE Titles doing this? I am not aware of that.
Those Supporter Packs are usually inticing because of their exclusivity. I personally really like having some things that a few years later down the line can feel very special and would not like if stuff from supporter packs becomes regularly available.
EHG would like to do it at some point, but it requires a lot of ressources, animations, rigging, voice acting, adjustments of 3D models etc.
It will come eventually, I am sure, but don’t count on it anytime soon.
Unless they made a recent change, GGG does not release the supporter pack items later. As @ArcticPotato says, they do that for the loot boxes.
tbh, I think people would be less incentivised to buy supporter packs if the items would be released later. So while it would be cool, it’s not in EHG’s best interest to do so.
My mistake you guys are right, they do for the lootboxes but not the packs. As much as I would like the cherry blossom dash I am not willing to drop that much money for only 1 item getting actual use. I do hope the theme carries on into other items in future.
I will pray that female primalist also becomes a thing!
