Item Type Loot Filter Doesn't Activate Subtypes After Selecting Type

NOTE: this is different from the many “subtypes” problems I see historically in here … in my case the Subtypes field isn’t enabled at all!

I click Type and select, say, Two-Handed from the list, but when the list closes and I get “6 Selected” in the Type box the Subtype box isn’t enabled … it’s malformed in that it’s displayed like a text box that extends off the right edge of the dialog, whereas I think it’s supposed to be a combo box like Type

Seriously, has no one else seen this problem, right now this filter rules seems pretty worthless.

Did you create a fresh rule?

I know there is an issue, when you have a rule that has another item type with sub types selected and then you change the item type, without deselecting the subtypes first the selection buggs out.
That is why I always create fresh rules or duplicate rules with no conditions.

Bro. subtype selection list active only for single type of item. Two-handed axes rule separately from spears, for example

It sounds like you are selecting all 2h instead of a specific type.

You have to set the filter for individual items to get sub-type. Example, Check “Gloves” in the Armor drop down, then select “Add”. You get the sub-type drop down. Whereas, if you simply check “Armor” you don’t get Sub-types dropdown. Same goes for each type of weapon. You need to select a weapon type from the weapon type item list.
