TLDR: attribute conversion with a downside
Hello I would like to see more items with major benefits (ideally at build defining or game breaking levels), that include a significant risk/cost/limitation associated with it. That way the item benefit can have a weight from risk for potential gain.
One way I would like see this or an example take it as u will. I would like a pair of gloves that converts all attributes into one attribute. (Obviously this is the gain). Now the gloves would have all attributes are converted to and added to āxā (remember this for bonus extra credits scene). All other equipment cannot be equipped above magic(yellow label) rarity. (Cost being you cannot equip any uniques/set/exalted/legendary and potentially corrupt depending on how thatās classified).(this conversion has highest priority). This item canāt have Lp but can be corrupted.
So example of pre- worn gloves stats: 10str/10dex/10int/5atun/0vit
Post equip gloves 0str/0dex/35int/0atun/0vit
Post equip any added stats are just added to int.

And yeah if you were watching a recent dev stream and reading the chat. You may have noticed a question about the value of added unique variants. If u did then put that idea on this and save yourself some reading.
If u didnāt basically take pearls of the swine unique amulet as example and make different versions of this glove for each attribute.
Then if you were reading chat u may of noticed a viewer to viewer conversation about p2w and mtx. If you did apply that to these gloves and you made it to last point of post.
So essentially it was said I would pay for mtxās that changed existing uniques. On grounds thereās at least one version of unique players can get for free from playing the game. And another that the $$$$$ mtx enabling variants would only change wording specifically damage element. And not increase any value ranges or add uni modifiers or basically added stats. So take the existing purple 2hd sword dream thorn. Make a red flame mtx for that weapon and it changes the existing use of āvoidā to āfireā.
To me thatās justified because it doesnāt prevent any build from particularly being played just a specific play style. Like if u wanted to make a build with void cleave u could play it as void or fire. And depending on element it could create a different play style or different builds or power types. End of day I see that as added value to a game. This isnāt preventing access to skills just stats. And if the devs charge me 1-2$ for this very ānicheā change. Iām ok with it. Itās not like ESO Preventing whole sections of content behind a 40$ dlc with game breaking items locked behind it.
