Are you spending your Favor?
Exp Gives Favor. Every point of Favor earend gives 2 Reputation. Every Point of Favor spent gives another 2 reputation.
Meaning 1 Favor gives 4 reputation in total, by earning and spending it.
If you don’t spent your favor you only get half of the reputation that you could get.

what it has to do with anything i said? i got 300k reputation to rank up level 7 but it didnt gave me rank up it now shows me i again need 300k for level 7 therefore clearly a massive BUG

If you have gathered the required reputation but didn’t get the rank up, I advise you to use
- the in-game bug report function (esc->report a bug)
- the bug report section in the forum, not the general section.
Can you make a screenshot from your faction window, with the mouse on the progress bar so the pop-up shows? Is there a 0 or a negative value of how much you need for the next rank?

it just shows i need again 300k reputation for level 7 as if nothing happened
I did not know this. Must’ve missed it in clicking through stuff. Might be good to have that noted somewhere the player can see it repeatedly - like on the the screen you see when you press Y.

Thats why horusKBZ. Suggested u report this in game using the in game bug report.
Its bugged and needs to be reported. In game bug report is the best place to report bugs. It sends them game logs and other stuff to help the team identify what the issue is.

The same thing has happened to me. I started this morning only 9,000 points away from earning Tier 7 and next time I checked after a bit of playing I was 279,000 points away from earning the Tier.
I too would like someone within the company to either acknowledge the bug or list the thread where they are talking about this bug already.
I did as suggested and posted a bug report ingame
so i wasnt the only one good to know il try get again 300k reputatrion but if it again doesnt count im gonna be probably asking refund through support

I understand they have a lot on their plate but I’m kinda stuck not know how to proceed without a response, I’ve tried working on the Merchant guild but that isn’t my cup of tea. I don’t expect this issue to be moved to the top of list but some type of reply isn’t that hard to give. Right now I’m out 300,000 reputation. I really don’t feel like grinding rep just to have the game throw it away, If the problem persist will I eventually be giving all the Rep the game took or am I SOL.

This is normal. It took me until level 98 before I reached rank 8 and I targeted EXP monoliths and grinded pretty hard. The good news is that the MG rank grind basically stops at level 8 while CoF needs rank 10 for their grind.
The grind never stops because Favor is the real bottleneck. Keep this in mind and be very careful on how you spend your favor. Don’t list things for cheap or gamble just to burn it. Each sale and purchase should be deliberate as you’ll spend your favor each way and favor is precious. All spent favor gives you reputation at the same ratio.
I kinda wish I knew how much favor you’ve gained completely. What level are you and if you are level 100, how long have you been level 100?

This sounds right. I was like level 95 at rank 7 and 98 at rank 8. Things get slow xD.
imo i dont think you understand what OP is talking about the samething happened to both me and my wife tonight.
when you should be getting rank 7 for us in CoF the rep count resets and makes you gain rank 7 again. this is what the OP is talking about. just with MG. rank 7 in both factions is bugged.
the UI on the rep bar shows that we both have unlocked rank 7 CoF but when looking at the bottom part rank 7 is not lit up like the bar is.
im lvl 86 shes lvl 85.
